Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored permanently or temporarily on your computer when you visit this website. The main purpose of cookies is to analyse the use of this website for statistical evaluation and in order to make continuous improvements.
You can deactivate some or all cookies in your browser settings at any time. If cookies are deactivated, you may no longer be able to use all the functions of this website.

General data protection

On the basis of Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the federal government (Data Protection Act, DSG), everyone has the right to the protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these regulations. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties. We work in close cooperation with our hosting providers to protect the databases as effectively as possible from unauthorised access, loss, misuse and falsification. No data is saved when you access our website. There is no transfer of personal data to third parties.

Use of Facebook plugins

When you visit our website, no direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server.

Privacy Policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow us to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated in advance by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for the website operator and provide other services related to website and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. The IP address transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing the corresponding settings in your browser software. However, please be aware that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you declare that you consent to the processing of your data collected by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose set out above.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to present our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way in all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid loading multiple times. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, the content is displayed in a standard font.

Accessing script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.

The Privacy Policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on our website. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. A connection to YouTube servers is established when you visit a page with a YouTube plug-in. As a result, YouTube will be told which pages you are viewing. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If you watch a YouTube video, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, these cookies will not be created when you watch YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal information about use in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, please block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Additional information about YouTube’s data protection is provided in the provider’s Data Policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Newsletter

When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will only be used for this purpose. Under certain circumstances, subscribers may also be sent e-mail messages relating to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter service or technical conditions).

We need a valid e-mail address for effective registration. We use the “double opt-in” procedure to check that the registration is actually carried out by the owner of an e-mail address. We log the newsletter subscription request, the confirmation e-mail sent and the receipt of the requested response for this purpose. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively to distribute the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

The data used for the newsletter is processed by Mailchimp. Mailchimp’s privacy policy can be found at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly on this website at any time or inform us of your request using the contact option mentioned above.
